The Voice of China Arc[]

When Fu Sihong brought Zhang Ye over to the office area, he and the rest of the program team introduced themselves one by one.

When Zhang Ye asked for the viewership ratings of other satellite channels' singing programs, he helped Ha Qiqi to gather the data.

He was present in the preliminary auditions venue with Ha Qiqi. When Qian Pingfan came to the audition, Wu Yi did not believe he was the one who sung the demo sent to them and tried to make him leave. After the first round of auditions, he and the rest of the program team were not optimistic about the contestants that Zhang Ye chose. He tried to play dumb, switched topics, and even pretended he was not at the venue when an old colleague asked him about the auditions.

After Zhang Ye decided to expand the auditions to the outside of Beijing, he was worried that they won't know which contestants qualify without Zhang Ye leading the selection since no one understood his criteria.

He decided to work until 11 PM to finish the production of The Voice when the station forced them to broadcast one month ahead of schedule. Due to working late and lack of sleep, he was one of the staff members who caught a cold but continued working despite being sick.

He and Ha Qiqi encouraged Luo Yu and cheered her on when the latter was too nervous to go on stage, telling her that she could definitely do it and that they were extremely confident in her. But realistically, they did not even know what to expect. He and Ha Qiqi also encouraged Qian Pingfan when he was too nervous before his turn.

After the recording of the first episode, he and the rest of the program team became confident that The Voice will become popular and exceed their initial 0.7% viewership rating target. He was nervous and angry when he saw the rumors that the SARFT was planning to ban The Voice, but Zhang Ye told them not to believe those rumors.

He was dumbfounded when he saw that The Voice's first episode had a viewership rating of 2.01%. He was unable to rest the whole day because of the news.

After the broadcast of the second episode, he and Little Wang wondered if its viewership ratings will surpass the first episode.
