The Voice of China Arc[]
Little Wang first appeared when she helped Zhang Ye make copies of his proposal for The Voice of China to distribute to Fu Sihong and Jiang Yuan. Later, she also helped Zhang Ye compile a list of big companies they can contact for the title sponsorship.
During the preliminary auditions for The Voice, she was in charge of the waiting room, notifying the contestants to get ready and calling the next person to perform.
After the first round of auditions, she and the rest of the program team were not optimistic about the contestants that Zhang Ye chose. She pretended that Zhang Ye ordered them to keep the auditions' results confidential when she was asked by one of her university schoolmates that she had a pretty good relationship with.
She was the one who brought the companies to Zhang Ye's office to discuss about the advertisements and served them water. Later, Zhang Ye asked her to show them out when their discussions fell through.
She decided to work until 9 PM to finish the production of The Voice when the station forced them to broadcast one month ahead of schedule. To prevent the rest of the team from getting sick, Zhang Ye asked her to distribute disposable face masks to everyone when some started getting sick.
In the first episode's recording, she was below the stage, acting as the applause leader. When she gave the signal, the audience cooperated very well. Little Wang also helped take care of Zhang Ye by immediately giving him bottled water after his advertisement segment.
After the recording of the first episode, she and the rest of the program team became confident that The Voice will become popular and exceed their initial 0.7% viewership rating target. She was nervous and angry when she saw the rumors that the SARFT was planning to ban The Voice, but Zhang Ye told them not to believe those rumors.
She was dumbfounded when she saw that The Voice's first episode had a viewership rating of 2.01%. She called Zhang Ye to bring him the news of the viewership rating and was surprised when he did not show much of a reaction after hearing it. When she came to work the next day, she talked excitedly with the other program team members about the viewership ratings. She was also unable to rest the whole day because of the news.
After the broadcast of the second episode, she and Wu Yi wondered if its viewership ratings will surpass the first episode. She was the one who notified Zhang Ye that the ratings are out. However, she was again dumbfounded by his calm reaction to the news.[1]
